Everyone had some luck and alot of fun. These are the two things I shot. The hog hunting was probably the most fun but the Javelina's were fun too. We were about 15 miles from the border and we saw lots of signs of Mexicans coming across(pants shirts water containers ect..) I also saw two cutting across and another guy saw one cross on a horse. Everything in Texas will poke you or bite you it seems. Giant thorns every place you look, snakes, scorpions, spiders the size of birds, no way was I going to sleep on the floor.

Painted, base done and out the door! Looks pretty cool if you ask me. I get to go shoot at them this coming week and I can't wait.

Got back from Texas on Sunday and we had fun! Getting to ride on this truck was Trenten's favorite part. I liked the weather (65) the food(lots of good mexican) and the hunting with Trenten. I did shoot a hog but it made it to the swamp and I wasn't about to go in after him.

Freeze dried the horns to keep the velvet on them. I still have to do finish work(paper still in nose) but this is one heck of a good Mule Deer. Shot with a bow and arrow which makes it even a better deer.
